I tested the Card Reader by running a full test against an SD Card, called F3 (Fight Flash Fraud), which is a Linux version of h2testw. It runs a full write and read test to the memory card. The Card Reader performed excellently. It is fully and transparently compatible with Linux. It is very compact and versatile. It's easy to use. Just plug it into the computer and it's ready. It works at full speed despite my aging motherboard having a pretty low power, weak usb-c port. It works WAY better than any of the usb-a adapters that don't have a cord over usb 3.0 (3.1 gen 1). And it costs a fraction of the price of the sandisk reader and even an ANKER reader which is a brand I'm avoiding lately. Is acer back? Did it ever go away?
