It works at full speed despite my aging motherboard having a pretty low power, weak usb-c port. It works WAY better than any of the usb-a adapters that don't have a cord over usb 3.0 (3.1 gen 1). And it costs a fraction of the price of the sandisk reader and even an ANKER reader which is a brand I'm avoiding lately. Is acer back? Did it ever go away? Anyway get this reader, it works great on U3 cards like sandisk extreme. I have not tested any newer express cards bc I don't own a switch 2. Read more
Very fast and reliable for the price. It’s USB-C and runs at USB 3.0 speeds, so I can transfer my pictures and videos from the SD / micro SD cards at high speeds. Haven’t experienced any noticeable speed drops and hopefully it will stay like this. Read more
