Bought a brand new ninja coffee maker and the clean light kept coming on every 4-5 days after running the recommended cleaning cycle with vinegar. I was getting frustrated as I was using only bottled water in the machine and no reason for it to need a cleaning every 4 days. I was about ready to return the machine when I decided to order these tablets and see if it cleans it. I used 1 tablet and ran the cycle. It’s been 2 weeks now and so far the clean light has not come on yet! These obviously do a much better cleaning job than vinegar. Definitely worth the cost and you get a year’s supply. I'm very happy with this product. So easy to use and very effective. I love the packaging. It's a very thin resealable box with individually wrapped tablets (like a box of mints, lol). I used the Active Coffee Machine Cleaner Descaler Tablets to clean my Hamilton Beach FlexBrew coffee machine, and overall they worked really well. Using the tablet in the main coffee maker was extremely easy—I just dropped it in and let it do its job. The only challenge was with the coffee pod side of the machine, which has small grated openings for adding water. Because of that, I couldn’t use a full tablet and had to crush it into tiny pieces so it would dissolve properly, which took a few extra cleaning cycles. I have used this coffee maker descaling product before in liquid form and I thought I’d give the tablet form a try. I’m glad I did. I liked that the tablets are individually wrapped, they are easy to handle, and they don’t have any type of chemical smell when opened. You just drop the tablet into a full reservoir and the tablet immediately begins to fizzle and dissolves in the water. It’s quite simple and easy to use. My coffee maker is a single cup Keurig and I went through the entire descaling cycle (2 reservoirs) and afterwards the coffee maker was clean and fresh with no residue buildup from the tablets left in the water. The coffee had a nice fresh and crisp taste after using the product. The price was reasonable for the 12 tablets and I have no hesitation in recommending the product to others. Good product! This stuff works really well. I live in an area that has really hard water so I use this product to descale my nespresso and my Breville Bambino plus every month or so. I also use product to rinse out my goose neck kettle. One time my steam wand was clogged because I forgot to do the purge after I was done frothing milk. I poured some of the descaler into hot water and within a few minutes the steam holes were clear. I would recommend. Read more
