My desk is in a corner with the window behind me, so it's usually pretty dark. I have tried several more traditional lamps with light bulbs, but I never felt I was getting enough light. This is an interesting alternative. It's a perfect height for me because the bulb isn't visible. It has several different light temperatures, so you can select your brightness. The on-off switch is very sensitive, so you can just brush your finger over it and it works. And it has plugs and charging ports, all of which I use. I have to say I loved many of the features. The fact that it has so many options to plug in things like phones and charge stuff is very helpful. I love the brightness of it, and the fact that you can also deem it. I like it so much that I ordered a second one for another room. I love the quality, I just thought it was sometimes hard to hit the right button to turn it on in the darkness, it wasn't too responsive. This is a functional lamp, it has 3 3-prong plugs and 2 USB outlets as well as 2 C outlets. The one thing it's missing is a way to turn the lamp on in the dark. I don't love pressing my finger on an unfindable power button that is not raised or lit up in a way you can find it. I need a light to turn it on, which I find useless. Also, it's such a lightweight base that its plug prevents it from sitting properly. Would not buy again. Read more
