These lamps are easy to assemble, however, I was first misled to think brackets for holding the lampshades on were missing, but in actuality the lampshades sit directly on the bulb. You could I guess purchase brackets, but that defeats the value for the money. They are sturdy and solid weight. The quality and coloration looks as pictured. I was pleased overall with the set and happy not to have to assemble the lampshades. Recommended Read more
