The waist is regular fit and it tapers down to a nice snug fit on the legs. These are honestly the best athletic pants I’ve ever owned. These are going to be perfect for the gym, outdoor exercise, errands and chillin’. I washed them in cold water and dried in low heat and there was no shrinking and if anything they are softer.
