These pants are for someone who wants a contemporary look, but has some body flaws and cannot wear a tight legging or a tight tapered jogger. If skin tight would not be flattering on you, try these tapered crop-cut pants. I wouldn’t call them 7/8 length or an even an ankle pant. They’re more of a crop pant. I am 5‘8“ size 14 and I bought a size large in these. They land at least 3 inches above my ankle. They are perfect for me because the fit is tapered but not tight and the fabric is forgiving and flattering, kind of like a tricot; it has a little bit more weight to the fabric so it doesn’t show every bulge or bump. I HATE THESE PANTS. Adidas made the 2 strings that come out of the pants differently and they don’t stay up!!!! I accidentally pushed the wrong button when deciding to return it, and I left the app hopefully Amazon would not accept it, and now I have no other way to have it returned.
