They're very easy to adjust to the weight you want and they come in and out of the holder smoothly. They seem to be a good quality and should last a long time. I love the small footprint, they can easily fit just about anywhere without getting in the way. A set of separate dumbbells can be crazy expensive so I feel that this set is quite cost effective. I think dumbbells are a must for any home gym as they can be used in so many different ways, so I'm very happy to have this set that didn't break the bank or take up a ton of space.
