If you find this review linked to a different product, please disregard the review. This desk just fits over my new (small, inexpensive) treadmill. Just out of dumb luck, because I didn't measure for this, my treadmill's handlebars can fold forward and allow the desk to take their place, then fold right back up when I move the desk away to use it elsewhere. Super convenient!!! I hadn't considered the fact that I won't be able to use my normal large monitor while I'm working, but instead will have to rely on just my laptop screen, and at a weird angle, too. I wanted to try placing my laptop in the drawer, then a small monitor and wireless keyboard on the tray, for a more natural posture of using the keyboard and a more ergonomic line-of-sight to the screen. The drawer is a little under 12 inches deep and 16 inches wide, though, not quite big enough for my large-ish laptop once you have the cables plugged into the sides. It might work with a smaller laptop, or if you could use one of those right-angle adapters that lets you minimize how far out to the side the cords will need to be. The laptop weight needs to be considered too, though, because the drawer is made of fabric and you don't want it dropping your laptop onto a moving treadmill during a meeting. :-O It's not the sturdiest feeling desk in the world, or the largest, but the price is right ($49.99 at the time I ordered it) and it's really easy to put together. The caster wheels are the same inexpensive kind that you find on a lot of inexpensive furniture; they're just OK on hardwood or tile floors, but on my very low pile carpeting they just stick and make the whole setup unstable when trying to move it around. Overall though I think it'll continue to be sturdy enough for the limited weight of a laptop and a few accessories, and treated with a little care, it feels durable enough to be functional for a long time.
