A great combination of good price and quality. I was having difficulty seeing my screen, and was recently prescribed a pair of computer glasses. They are suitable for this middle-distance, but these are bifocals, instead of the multifocal glasses that I wear when not looking at my computer. Unfortunately, the reading part begins too high, and I need to raise my MacBook so that I'm not looking at the screen through the reading part. This stand does that job very well. It is rock solid. Excellent quality product. Very sturdy and durable. Folds perfectly without just enough give to move it but not loose enough to slowly slide like others do. Easily adjustable to exactly what you need. It is on the heavier side, so if you plan on carrying it around, be prepared for the extra weight, but that's what keeps it from tipping while using so well worth it. Update** 8/18/25-The seller reached out to me and replaced my stand which I appreciate. It is not lopsided as the previous one. It still remains a very sturdy item and the rotation is extremely easy! Great customer service! Thank you! I like this stand however I may return it. I’m not sure if it’s just the one I received but I find it extremely difficult to adjust the stand. I was hoping that it would loosen up a bit after use but it has not. I have a MacBook Pro and feel that it is very sturdy for the weight of it. I will also mention that the stand itself is very heavy so it’s not ideal for travel. My other pet peeve, again, I don’t know if it’s just the one I received or all stands are like that, but it has a slight tilt to the left so when I’m looking at the screen it’s lopsided. 🤦🏻‍♀️ At first glance it’s not noticeable but when you’re sitting in front of the screen it’s totally obvious. I do absolutely love the ease of rotating the base! It really comes in handy. Like someone else mentioned if you type on the keyboard while it’s lifted, the computer will wobble. If you’re using a wireless keyboard that won’t be a problem. I think what I received was someone else’s return because the box was a little beat up. I’m not lying when I say I have to use all my stretch to lower and lift the stand. It’s too heavy, lopsided stand and not easy to lower and lift the stand. Read more
