If I could give this more than 5 stars I would... This weighted vest is a solid option if you want to add resistance to workouts without overcomplicating things. The weight feels evenly distributed across the torso, so it does not pull you forward or feel awkward when walking, running, or doing bodyweight exercises. Once adjusted properly, it stays in place and does not bounce around much, even during cardio. The materials feel durable and well stitched. It is not overly bulky, which makes it comfortable to wear for longer sessions. The straps are easy to adjust and fit both snug and looser depending on your body type. I like that you can remove or add the iron sand weights to fine tune how heavy you want it, especially if you plan to progress over time. Comfort is better than expected for a weighted vest in this price range. It is breathable enough for workouts, though you will still sweat like any other vest. The padding helps prevent pressure points on the shoulders and chest. Overall, this is a good value weighted vest for general fitness, walking, running, and strength training. It feels sturdy, adjustable, and practical, without unnecessary extras. If you are looking for a straightforward vest that gets the job done, this one delivers. Read more

I'm grateful for weighted vests like these that consider the anatomical differences between men and women! This one, I'm happy to report, is comfortable for women. I'm athletic, exercise every day, and I love this as a way to elevate my workouts and make them more effective. Also apparently walking with a weighted vest on is a whole thing now. The weight on this one is easy to adjust simply by removing or adding in weight to the pouches. I'd recommend balancing it though because after a while it will really shift if it's not balanced. The fit is probably great for most medium to large frame individuals. I'm 5'11" and there's still plenty of room to adjust the sides. It's easy to use, simply put it on over your head, buckle it in, and tighten it down. Regular use of this, like any weight, is a great way to improve overall strength and conditioning. Not giving 5 stars because though much of the weight is removable, there are still pockets of weight that are sewn in and cannot be removed. I don't like that because it means you can spot clean it only. I sweat a lot and want to be able to deep clean anything I'm sweating in. Aside from that, and especially given the price, this is a great weighted vest. Read more

If you’re into CrossFit, an athlete or just trying to step up your personal training game, a weighted vest is a great way to do it. As a Certified Personal Trainer, CrossFit enthusiast, and Health Educator, I’m always on the look out for good training gear to add to my inventory. This vest is awesome and I can’t wait to start training with this on my weekly exercise rotation. Pros: This vest comes with 6 sandbags that you can add or subtract to adjust the weight. Also has adjustable straps along the sides to tighten it and keep it from moving around too much. Bonus- It’s really comfortable- seriously! As someone who has worn multiple weighted vests including IOTVs and IBAs, this one feels like a dream. I literally wore this around the house for a bit and did some chores all while wearing this thing. Once you put this on, you just want to do more. It’s a piece of equipment every serious athlete needs to have- it’s just as essential as a barbell and bumper plates. This one in particular is an awesome vest - no joke. It sits high on the body which is exactly what you want. Anyone who hikes or has rucked, knows you want your weight as high as you can get it. This training vest is cut high enough to allow plenty of movement from the hips for running, toes to bars, burpees, high knees or whatever but also it doesn’t bounce around either which is nice. The material is clearly wear resistant and made for training. The stitching is legit and the way the sand is sown in, actually makes it not only conform to your body but also in a weird way adds padding. There’s no hard nylon straps to cut into your shoulders or wear against your neck. Worn a lot of vests in my day and this is 100% the most comfortable and yet still provides plenty of weight to knock out MURPH RX. Highly, highly recommend. Read more

Great quality weighted vest! I love that you can change the weight from 4-10 lbs. It starts at 4 with weight mainly being on the shoulder straps. You can add weight in the pictured pouch slots. They fit snug in there and then a flap Velcro's over the pouches. I think 4-10 lbs is perfect for building strength especially if you go on long walks. It’s easy to put on and adjust the side straps. The shoulder straps are not adjustable. I didn’t notice any weird or unusual smells from the vest when I opened it—nothing so strong that you’d need to outgas it. Great material—feels like it’s a good quality and I like the design of the vest. Overall I’m very happy with this weighted vest and would recommend to first time weighted vest owners. Read more

The first vest I had was around 6 lbs and worked well, but I needed an upgrade as I started building more muscle and strength. This one was definitely a great choice. It’s easy to use, just slide it over my head, snap the sides, adjust the fit, and get moving. I like that the weights are adjustable so I can gradually increase them instead of starting at the maximum right away. It’s breathable, and the wide shoulder design makes it comfortable since the weight spreads evenly without straining my shoulders. I use it mostly for walking, on the treadmill, and during squats, and it stays securely in place without shifting. There was no odor out of the package or during use, which I really appreciate.
