The media could not be loaded. I exercise regularly and consistently. My focus is on strength training although I do understand the benefits of cardio. Not wanting cardio to interfere with my gainz, I typically limit my sessions to two times per week at 60-70% max heart rate at 20-30 mins to work on ‘conditioning’ my heart to help with recovery between heavy sets. I have multiple machines, bikes, rower, treadmill to use to accomplish this goal, but my favorite thing to do is just to go for a walk. The only problem is that with the flat roads around my house sometimes its hard to get my hr up to the target level and keep it there for the whole session. So, in lieu of increasing the intensity, such as trying to jog or just walk faster, I thought id add a little weight. So when I saw this vest offered up it was a no brainer. And I’m glad I did because this is one of the most well made pieces of exercise equipment that I’ve ordered on amazon. I go over some of the main features in the video so I won’t revisit that here but just know that this vest is extremely well made, cleverly designed and very durable and I predict long lasting if you take care of it. The vest Is very well balanced and comfortable, easy on, easy off, and with weight bars in 2lbs. Increments, it’s very customizable from the standpoint of adding and removing weight to your workout. It’s a little customizable from a comfort standpoint at least as far as the belt goes because there is enough material there to accommodate most waistlines. This is a great vest, I’m really excited about adding it to my conditioning routine, and I totally recommend this for a novice or an experienced exerciser because of the fact that you can go from no bars to full bars based on your level of fitness. As a trainer for over 20 years, I've used lots of gear over the years and I have a good objective perspective and the difference between quality gear and crappy gear...based on how heavily used it will be (i.e. home use versus commercial gym use). This is a VERY well made weight vest....it uses 1000 denier material, not 600 denier like lower level vest would use. The stitching is high quality, and it fits very well and is easy to adjust to get it fitting snugly for any exercise. The weights can be easily added/removed for the correct weight you need. The belt is high quality and well made and cinches down tightly so the vest won't move around. The quick release is high quality and solid. For "extreme" use like running, plyometric exercises and the like, this is a great option and the price is inline with that level of quality. For light duty exercise like just adding a little extra weight for pull ups, push ups...etc, you could get away with a less expensive and less well made vest.
