Costume was better quality than most packaged Halloween costumes. We filled the mask up with plastic grocery sacks to get it to form better and let it set for some time that way. It was super warm. No zipper, just a tie in the back. The feet actually fit over my son’s shoes which was nice. Got lots of compliments. It was pretty big on my 12 year old (5’6 but really thin). Would easily fit a much larger adult as well. Read more

This costume was a BIG HIT! I wore it at work and, even though I wasn't allowed to wear the mask full time, most people enjoyed it. I was able to joke that, "Yes, they allow me to be barefoot at work", and other bare jokes. When I went to a popular fishing rodeo, I had to remind all of the tourists that, as Big Foot, I am camera shy. They didn't care and took many photos of me/us together. It fit fine for me, 5'9" with a 30" normal inseam, but I can understand why taller folks may have a problem with the leg length. The crotch of this costume was at my knees. I can't imagine how taller folk could deal with it. As others have said, the one tie behind the neck can be inconvenient. However, wearing a dark brown shirt made it so that nobody noticed it 'til I mentioned it. Sure, I had to take the whole costume off to use the restroom, but fortunately I didn't need to. Yes, it sheds some, and the mask required some blow dryer conditioning, but that really isn't much trouble. I am very happy that I had this costume this year. I also had a body suit costume available if it was warm enough, but this was perfect for the cooler temperatures I dealt with this year. Read more

This costume was a hit last year around Halloween, and I just stumbled across the mask, and realized I never submitted a review. To get an idea of my size, I am 6'1, and weight about 250 lbs. Like other reviewers mentions, the length on the legs was a bit short. I had to get creative with a trip to the fabric store to add about 6" to get a length that I felt comfortable with. I also had issues with the back, where the top part of the costume ties together around the neck. Since I was already adding fabric to the legs, we added a little to the back as well. This made the costume fit much better, I only wish the fabric I purchased was a closer match to the costume. Now for the mask. I am not a fan of breathing into a mask all night. Luckily I have a beard, and chose to cut out the bottom jaw of the mask to allow for eating/ drinking without the need to take the mask off. In the dark, it was really hard to tell I even did this. Some brown makeup, lots of blood, and some grease pencil on my teeth helped. I had no issues with the feet or hands. I was able to slide my size 13 shoe in the foot without an issue, and it actually filled the foot out rather nicely. The gloves were warm, and I probably lost a few ounces of sweat in the gloves, but it was bearable. Overall, I was very impressed for the price. I took a star off sue to the fit issues, but this is not a big and tall costume. The body of the costume did shed a lot as well. I wasn't losing patched of fur, I think it was just excess fur from the costume being manufactured. Read more

We bought this for my son’s birthday party and it was a hit! Make sure a taller person wears it though as it runs long. It was easy to put on and we didn’t have to fight the zipper. It’s a little expensive but definitely worth the money! Read more

Costume is warm-- perfect for a cold Halloween night! Decent quality--be prepared to reshape the mask with a hair dryer-- but it tells you that in the instructions. My boyfriend likes that the costume's feet fit over his shoes so it's comfortable to wear Read more

Honestly, for the price, you're getting a decent costume. I definitely wish I'd been aware of a few things before I bought it, though. The cloth 'base' material under the fur is thin, and the colour is MUCH more an 'Irish Setter red' than the brown you see here. This is not necessarily a con, since the fur makes the costume pretty warm by itself. Honestly, you just have to be careful not to tear the material by putting the costume on too roughly, and outside in natural light the reddish brown has a great natural tone. The vinyl parts mostly come back to shape with careful application of a hair dryer but the feet never came back to shape and had to have newspaper wadded up and stuffed into the toes to shape them up nicely. I wore the full costume outside over the course of a few days, three or so hours each time in temps down around 35 degrees, and with minimal cold weather protection it was comfortably warm. The coldest night I wore a full set of thermal underwear (top and bottom) and a black tee-shirt, regular socks and shoes, and I was having to hold my hands with the fingers up in the air so the sweat would drip out of the gloves when I was performing regular activity (walking, talking to people, posing for pics.) The mask fits well, with a sort of rubber under-mask to fit your head, allowing the outside of the mask to 'wear' more naturally. Again, though, you're gonna sweat, even in the coldest conditions. My breath's condensation gathered inside the mask and puddled in the chin portion, so every night I had to tip the mask once in a while to let the water out. The most important thing I have to point out about the costume is the ridiculously short legs. I stand 72" tall, 215 pounds with a 34" inseam. For comparison's sake, I wear a 44L suit coat, a 16" collar, 36/34 Levis, a 12W shoe and a 7 3/4" hat. The costume itself fit well, if a tiny bit snug in the shoulders. However, the inseam is no more than 30", which is ridiculous when the sleeves fit me perfectly (I have LONG arms as well.) I can't understand this--why are the legs so short if the arms are so very long? They would bunch up on a shorter person, no question about it. I was forced to buy some similar fur material at the last minute to add gaiters to the ends of the legs, so that I wouldn't have a LOT of skin showing. Not cool, but doable if you have long legs and just have to have this costume. Overall, not a bad getup. The vinyl is thick and well-formed, with good detail work and painting, and even my size 12W shoes fit into the feet, tho I had to stuff paper into the toes to help bulk them into round. Just be well aware that the legs are SHORT. Read more

Huge hit Halloween night. Got more P than I've ever gotten...and obviously I was wearing way more hair on this costume than most women want to see on a man in their whole life. Make sure to pick up some extra protection. Read more
