This lederhosen set is incredibly well-made. It's some kind of heavy velvet material that comes very close to authentic leather. The embroidery is real, not printed, and shows up in several places on the chest, hips, pockets, and bottom cuffs. The sides of the cuffs have brass eyelets for lacing, and includes laces. The set i got was XXL because I'm aways worried that a fitted suit will be too small, but I believe this one would be best described as an American large. It would suit a tall man very nicely, the britches are long and the suspenders are adjustable. The shirt is a rough gingham, roomy and cool to wear and the color is just perfect for the overall look. This set also comes with thick cotton knee socks, and some fun beaded necklaces with Oktoberfest foam charms. This is NOT a flimsy throw away costume - this is a very nicely designed and created tribute to traditional lederhosen and will last for years. This costume killed so hard at Oktoberfest that it has been requested that I wear it more! The shirt is surprisingly high quality and I didn't expect that at all. The socks were a great touch too.
