These are my new favorite sweatpants! Love them! I am only 5’ 1 so they are a little bit long and you are unable to roll them because of the tie shirt but I wear them a little bit higher and my shoes had a bit of a platform so it was fine super comfy. Read more

Super thick high quality fabric. These are sooo baggy and comfortable. I use them to sleep in and they’re great. I’m not the kind of person who could pull off wearing these as an outfit so I haven’t worn them with the “shirt” around my waist. But they’re great for lounging around the house. Read more

I love the embroidered eye-heart :) It’s unique and cute. These are thicker sweats. The top of the fabric is really soft and feels like cotton, and the wrong side of the fabric is stiffer and very polyester in texture. It’s not hard or anything, just stiffer than the softer side. It’s still soft. There are four pockets: two in the back and two on the sides :) They are nice generous pockets that fit my iPhone 12 Pro Phone and my wallet together in a single back pocket easily. I’m 5’2” and these are about 1” to 2” too long for me (the back drags on the ground without shoes), but I like the puddle it makes at my feet, so it’s actually perfect :) They are high waisted on me, but don’t give me a wedgie or anything. I suppose I would pull them down lower, but then there would be too much of the hem on the ground. They are super comfortable and big on me. I usually wear a US women’s size 4-6 in pants. These don’t breathe as well as 100% cotton and they did keep me warm. I feel stylish and happy wearing them. I didn’t have any trouble moving or dancing in them. They are definitely for cooler weather, though. The red plaid tie is interesting! The cuffs are sewn as real cuffs. They even have a button! It’s definitely not a shirt, though. The sweats look normal without wearing the tie. There are two belt loops in the front near the belt for the tie to pass through. The tie comes undone if you don’t double tie it. Single ties don’t cut it. The quality is very good! I didn’t see any loose threads or messy sewing. The stitches for the machine embroidered heart are close and neat. I washed them yesterday and they were really easy to dry. Nice! I love these and am glad they’re mine! Read more

The Aelfric Eden Baggy Barrel Sweatpants with a Plaid Belt Shawl are noted to be for women, but they could work just as well for men. Here, these wide leg pants are made of 65% Cotton and 35% Polyester, and it's surprisingly thick with a slightly stiff hold that's not uncomfortable, but has more like a microfiber feel on the surface. The combo barrel/lantern shape reminds me of my days in college and I'm really holding onto this Y2K movement. With a thick, elasticized waist, it holds well, and doesn't drag too much on the ground with my 5ft, 120 lb frame, and if it does, I can easily pull it higher, or throw on a pair of platforms. Needless to say, construction is solid all around here. Moving forward, the belt shawl seems more like an afterthought as it's basically two tubes for sleeves that are sealed off and sewn onto a piece of fabric to make it look like a shirt for significantly less bulk and meant to be more of an accessory than provide function. Although cute, it's not for me, and I'm definitely more inclined to be found with these on without it in general. Thankfully, I can easily repurpose it with my sewing machine. Read more

These Aelfric Eden sweats lean into the Y2K streetwear vibe with a barrel-leg cut that’s roomy through the thigh and tapers gently at the ankle, plus a detachable plaid shawl/belt that lets you layer the flannel look without adding bulk. The fleece is midweight and soft inside, the elastic waist with a drawstring is forgiving, and the stitched paneling gives them some shape so they don’t look like pajamas. Pockets are deep enough for a phone, and the little heart logo is a nice touch. Fit is intentionally oversized, they hang slouchy and sit comfortably high or mid-rise, depending on how you tie the waist. The plaid panel snaps/loops off if you want a cleaner look or to throw it over another pair of pants. Wash cold and hang dry to keep the fleece soft and avoid shrinkage. If you’re into playful details and love a roomy, on-trend silhouette, these are a cozy win for errands, travel days, or casual hangs. Read more
