I forgot to check if this was "shipped and sold by Amazon" or a third party. It stinks strongly like laundry dryer sheets, which I detest. Hopefully the smell will dissipate over time. My experience is sometimes products sold by a third party have strong odors, like the seller stores their inventory in their laundry room or something. I once received an air purifier filter that had been stored in a such a place, which rendered the filter unusable because it stunk up our entire house. The case itself is just about perfect for a Logitech 925 (probably similar for the 920, 922 or 930). The camera fits snugly in the case and there is enough room for the USB cord (barely), if you fold the cord up nicely, such as when the camera first came out of the package. There is really only one way to fit the camera in the case, due to the shape, which with practice should make storing it away quick and easy (see photo). To store it, place the camera in the deeper portion of the case, upright (tripod mount points down into case), camera facing the binding of the case, then carefully fold up the cord and it should zip shut easily. It's a sturdy enough, but unpadded case that fits the shape of a Logitech C920 Webcam (or I guess any similarly-shaped webcam). I use the mesh pocket to hold earbuds and a flashdrive, so other small gear. This is useful if you carry your Webcam around in a backpack, duffel, briefcase, whatever. It won't protect much against falls or impact, but it will wrangle the cable and keep it unscratched and easy to find. Read more

Fits my Logitech 922 perfectly. I added a lens cover to keep the lens protected during transport. I can leave the lens cover on and it still fits in the hard case! Excellent! Read more
