Aromatic, fresh, citrusy, ambery, woody and smells a lot like Bvlgari Tygar. Some reviews said it was sweet but I did not get the sweetness. A bit harsh when you first spray it but that settles down in the first couple of minutes. Presentation is great and the bottle is heavy. Quality atomizer for the price. Longevity is amazing and I could smell it as a skin scent 8 hours in. Read more

The hype is real, bc this fragrance smells like it’s from a prestige brand that costs 3 times more. The initial citrus opening lasts about 10 minutes, which gives you an uplifting feeling, followed by a grape bubblegum smell, which gives it a bit of sweetness, then settles on skin that’s still noticeable after 6 hours with only 2 sprays. Super versatile scent that can be worn all times except for the coldest month or funeral. The value and quality is simply unbeatable. Read more

I didn’t expect to like this as much as I do. I picked up Turathi Blue knowing it was often compared to Bvlgari Tygar, and from the first spray it just worked. Clean, bright, and effortless in a way that doesn’t try too hard. The atomizer is excellent, and the quality feels way above the price. After letting it sit and macerate for a bit, the scent noticeably smoothed out and became even more enjoyable to wear. Projection is solid for the first few hours, and on me it lasts around 4–5 hours, which feels very reasonable for this style of fragrance. What really sold me is how easy it is to reach for. It’s become one of those fragrances I put on without thinking and every time I do, my girlfriend comments on how good it smells. For around $30, it honestly feels like a steal. If you’re debating a blind buy or looking for a safe gift, this is one I’d recommend without hesitation. It’s simple, confident, and just really well done. Read more

Afnan Turathi Blue is one of the best affordable takes on the Bvlgari Tygar DNA out right now. If you like that bright grapefruit-forward, clean citrus-amber style but don’t want to spend niche money, this delivers in a big way. The scent profile is very close. You get that juicy citrus opening with a musky, slightly woody amber drydown that feels upscale and modern. The original Tygar is built around grapefruit, ginger, ambroxan, and musk, and Turathi Blue clearly follows that blueprint. Where it differs is mainly in refinement and tone. The opening isn’t quite as silky as Tygar and the drydown leans a bit more musky and slightly rougher around the edges. In the air though, it absolutely captures the same vibe. Most people would never know you aren’t wearing the original unless they’re deep into fragrances. Performance is a strong point. For a fresh citrus style, it lasts surprisingly well and has solid projection for the price. It’s the kind of scent that works year round but really shines in spring and summer, especially in warm climates. This sits in that “luxury freshie” lane. Clean, confident, modern. Easy to wear to the office, dinners, travel, or dressed-up casual situations. It smells more expensive than it is and punches way above its price bracket. If you’ve smelled Tygar, this will feel instantly familiar. If you haven’t, just know you’re getting a bright citrus-amber scent with a polished, professional vibe and excellent value. For the money, this is easily one of the safest and most satisfying Tygar alternatives out there. Read more

So I have a mixed opinion on Turathi blue. The value is good. The cologne does last a long while with about 6 sprays. The scent is the main flaw for me. This is one of those colognes that smell like a cologne. Let me explain.... I like colognes that make ppl say "oh, you smell good". This cologne just smells like you're wearing a "cologne". It's fresh and masculine and slightly unique...but it's still not something I would wear even occasionally. I will add it to my diffusers at home Read more
