I needed a cute inexpensive coat to coordinate with my knee-length dress for a winter tea party. And this one was perfect. The red is a tomato red. I correctly guessed it ran a little bit small. So instead of ordering an XXL or 1X, I ordered a 2X and I was right. Roomy enough for a cashmere pullover under it, too. Even though I live in Northern California, I think this coat would be great in colder climates. The fabric looks like wool (it's not) and is a good weight, a little stiff, which I think will relax over time. This coat is everything the comments say it is !!! I ordered a 4xl I’m 22-24 dress with hips, butt and large bust. It fit everything so well. I don’t have pics in it yet but I will upload some later. The coat surprisingly fit me better than I would have expected. The buttons are a lil snug due to some recent weight gain in the belly area 😉. However, it still looks amazing on. It looks nice left open or closed. The weight of the coat; I was afraid because of price that it would not give off that pea coat feel. They did not disappoint!!! It is nice and heavy but just the right amount that won’t blow around on a windy day. The coat is amazing for the price and looks amazing. I ordered the light tan, but I’m already looking to order more colors. I can’t wait to wear it to church with my brown leather gloves. Read more

Looks as pictured. I bought a 4X (two up from my normal size) because of reviews saying it runs small. While I do think it runs small, I should have gotten a 3X instead, because the 4X is too large. But I think it might still work during the winter months when I am layering -- left to be seen. Read more

Love this coat. It’s very nice. Lined, with pockets, nice big buttons, good weight to it. I’ll order more in various colors. I did size up to the 3X and I’m glad I did. I usually wear a 2X or size 18/20. It’s warm and soft not scratchy. Read more
