Holds a 17 inch laptop and two 28 ounce drinks easily. Roomy enough for laptop, jacket and more in the main pocket. The front pocket is 6" x 8" x 1, big enough for a book, wallet, phone, etc. The front pocket zipper is 2 inches from the top of the pocket. The print is fantastic: part of the fabric, not just printed on the surface. It will never rub off. The nylon fabric, zippers and pockets all feel sturdy. The bag was folded in half and tightly bagged for shipping. Now the back and strap padding is permanently bent. Otherwise the padding is nice. The front panel also has some protective padding. I ordered this for my son and at first when I saw it online I felt that the design may be too busy and the other sonic backpacks I was looking at for my son were more simple and wouldn’t be distracting well needless to say I was pleasantly suprised when I go this in the mail. I’ll admit my first reaction when I saw it neatly folded in such a small size was “oh great this is going to be cheap, and fall apart” I was definitely wrong, this bag not only surpassed my expectations after giving it a few field test once I unfolded it and unzipped it and started putting my sons items in the Backpack it started taking shape. It also seems to do a lot better than my son’s old one which had a plastic portion on it with sonic that one was starting to thin at the bottom of the bag, and the plastic components were cracking. I don’t feel like that will be an issue with this one as it has been a little while since I had received it and it is still just as good the day I received it the handle is very comfortable and flush with the backpack whenever it’s not on, I was more surprised that it was so soft and felt like had it as well, almost like air venting. The design is not as overdone as I thought originally. I will also say that it seems to have a lot of extra space for pockets, and my son seems to love it as it seems to be more comfortable for him to carry around his school items. As I mentioned, the outer layers seem very durable as it is a fabric, but it seems like a strong fabric. I would definitely recommend for other people. Read more
