The first type I tried for translation was earbuds that worked along with an app. You could share a bud with someone else and see both parts of the conversation on the app. It worked but, sharing in ear devices with strangers was not for me. These glasses work similar but, you get the benefit via open ear headphone driven sunglasses. They don’t look like smart glasses as they remained small and kept the traditional sunglass style. It translates a ton of languages and does so quickly. They are light enough to wear all the time and are ready when you need a translator. There are many similarities between these and the buds but, these excel in the area I needed most and I don’t need to worry about unhygienic sharing of the device. Good product at a decent price.
