Easy to remove the TR
I put six of these in, and no issues with depth anywhere. It is easy to remove the annoying Tamper Resistant plastic pieces with a small Torx screwdriver. However, even with the TR removed, they are still a bit tight to put in--probably because they are new. An interesting discovery when disassembling was that these 15 amp receptacles are actually 20 amp. Only the faceplate is different. Read more

Nice, but doesn't work with switched outlet
I purchased a box of four and installed two. The third was to replace an outlet that was wired so the top receptacle was continuous power, but the lower receptacle was wired to a wall switch to turn a lamp off and on. This doesn't have the little tab you break off so that the two receptacles are wired differently. It doesn't mention that in the product description or the installation instructions. I had to leave the old outlet in place. I put this elsewhere in the bedroom where it is used it to power the Roku machine for the TV rather than charging a device, so I haven't noticed any noise. I plan on putting them in our guest bedrooms, too, so hopefully if there's any noise our guests will be out of our hair early! Nice outlet, good price compared to the blue box store, and the included wall plate is a nice addition. Read more

only one terminal to connect all wires
This is a good option it charges fast and you have the 2 usb and 1 usb2 witch puts you a head on the latest, the only problem comes to the installation, there is only 1 terminal (screw) in each side which it makes it difficult to put 3 wires you might need a 3 terminal splitter to connect to the 1 screw but its a really good product Read more
Perfect in wall unit
It works as advertised. It looks perfect on my kitchen and the USB charge is dependable. To install you need to be a handy person confortable working with electrical wires or need an electrician to install it.
