This is so delicious and worth having on hand. Oh, wow, you won’t believe it unless you try an omelette with apple sausage and cheese. I recommend sautéing the sausage in butter until browned, then adding chopped pepper jack and eggs cooked in your favorite pan. You could even try mixing in some tomato and diced peppers. I ate the whole thing myself, with a tortilla. I wouldn’t do much differently next time, but add some fruit to the plate. It is relatively healthy, being that it is a chicken sausage. The texture is soft and a bit chewy. It isn’t a greasy item on its own. It cooks up fast unless you do browning/sauteeing steps. You can put it in casseroles or grill it. There are so many ways to enjoyits. I love to get items like these from the Amazon Fresh delivery because I am handicapped and my husband cannot find many things when I send him to the store. This makes a good holiday dish, and we are almost at the end of our holiday season, so I am ordering a couple more. This is an excellent price! We try to eat healthy. Never have hot dogs or sausages. I cut these in half lengthwise and fry in a nonstick skillet. My husband likes to slice his and add to his baked beans. I buy this brand of chicken sausage all the time and keep on hand in my freezer. Slice it in chunks and air fry. Add to spaghetti, Crimpit combinations, cut in small pieces and put on toasted bread with a slice of provolone for a quick breakfast. Lots of ways to make this. Good price. Read more
