I could not believe that the Milwaukee did not sell it as their own product (how you can miss it, Red Team !)! This case beyond the question is a must for anyone who owns the M18 tire inflator: sturdy, spacious and secure. It will protect your instrument in the years to come. Now I am not worried about dent, scratches or broken screen anymore. The inflator and the battery fits nice, snug and secure inside the case so I can toss it in my trunk and relax. The case is exactly what you would expect. The handle and latches feel solid and shouldn't have any issues. The latches do have a manual release button to prevent them from accidentally opening. Similar to a Pelican case. The foam is a high density foam so there should be any deformation with normal use. I'm not sure if the foam is chemical resistant or not but that should be an issue for a tire inflator. Its difficult to tell if the seal is a true gasket seal or not. However there is a lip that goes in to a recessed channel in the lid. I cant tell if its a rubber seal or a dense foam material. With that said, I am fully confident that the case will withstand any sort of rain or typical water experienced on a job site or riding in the back of a truck and be just fine. I think anyone who has tried to source a case and custom cut foam knows $70 is a pretty solid deal for this type of product and quality. I wish they had more offerings for other type of tools as well. Read more
