So far so good. Basically a large computer fan that draws air up through the center of the circular filter, same expected minimal noise. Actually, it's a brilliant design, literally no wasted area. The filter fits just inside the bottom of the unit and there's nowhere else for the air to go except through the filter, no extraneous air flow. Haven't fully figured out where to put it and when to run it yet, but going with the center of the open floor den/dining/kitchen area, on the floor, and running it for 8 hours on the timer with the fan on 2. Been using it a few days and already have turned the filter off-white, so it's definitely working... Lots of leftover pollen, dust, and the dander of the 8 or so dogs who've lived here! Read more

These work great. My husband has a CPAP machine, and I decided to place one of these machines in the bedroom to keep the air cleaner. He has noticed that he sleeps much better since having this purifier in our bedroom. It runs quiet on 2nd level, and the filter is easily removeable for cleaning or replacement. I have purchased several more to have throughout our home. I feel it helps our central AC unit as well in keeping the air within the house cleaner before reaching our central "Air Bear" filter. I bought this top help lower the dog hair in our house, smells, but also filter in some clean air. I am pleased so far. Easy to set up. Multiple speeds and times. Also has a lock button in case you have little children that are curious like i do, she thinks shes hitting buttons but it doesnt change from the setting i put because of the locking feature. I bought this air purifier for my bedroom. Our dog sleeps with us and the room started to smell like old wet dog no matter how many times I washed his blanket. The machine is easy to setup and use. It has several speeds to use even sleep mode which is very quiet. The higher speeds are more noisy so I set mine on level 3. The first day I used it, it totally took the doggy smell away. The air smells fresh now. It comes with a filter that can be vacuumed when dirty. I’ve had it for about a month now and it doesn’t need cleaning yet.
