This was an impulse "prime" sale purchase. My son is allergic to cats and we have 6 dogs(yes....I know), so we have odor. I purchased because the reviews for allergies first, but the perk were the reviews that it eliminated orders. Did I mention I have 6 dogs? Yes, we have odors. This little unit is great! The media could not be loaded. I was super skeptical about this purifier because it didn't have a-lot of purchases or reviews. Plus the price point really made me think it was just going to be junk. Well i was wrong! This little machine is fabulous! Clears the air perfectly in my large open floor plan kitchen/lvng room. I also have 3 dogs and we are not sneezing quite so much. My only complaint is when I run it on high the plug gets super hot. Thats why I gave 4 stars. But I can run it on Auto non stop and it’s fine. I will often move it into my kitchen if I’m going to be cooking something that will cause some smoke or odor and it cleans the air super quick and then my house doesn’t smell like I just had the carnival come through with all their fried food. Especially when sautéing onions and garlic. It is also super quiet. I hardly ever hear it running, which is why I always forget to turn it off at the end of the night.I have another brand purifier that was nearly double the cost of this, and it does not work nearly as well. This Air Purifier is really good! I've been using it in my living room and I am really haappy in how well it works! It runs surprsingly quiet - I barely notice that it is on. The HEPA filtration is awesome. I have a persian cat and it grabs the dander and dust and oders quickly. The air feels noticeably fresher within minutes. With my having a cat and living in the city...have the ecoself has made a HUGH difference. I've noticed far less dust settling on surfaces, which tells me it's doing its job. I'm really pleased with this item. Arrived on time, undamaged, and as the ad stated. I live in a mobile home and air gets filled with dust particles and anything else that can migrate up from under the trailer. This purifier woks great. When I purchased mine it was on sale so that made it even better. It pulls out all the nasty stuff floating around. Plus the filters are east to replace. The front opens right up and you just pull the old filter out and toss in the trash and replace. No cleaning or washing like a reusable filter. Very happy with this purchase. Read more

This air filter is A-mazing! I foster cats/kittens and the litter box can sometimes be out of control. This air purifier automatically turns on high to filter the air when they poop.
