The newest Mac Mini M4 simply doesn't have enough plugs for all of my USB-C and USB-A cords. This "hub extender" is the perfect complement to the Mac Mini M4. With its extra plugs, especially for my USB-A cords, I can plug in all of my peripherals. It works great! I also added 2 TB of memory, and it is lightning fast, just as if the memory were inside of the Mac Mini. There's literally no setup -- it is "plug and play." Don't forget that you'll need an external power supply to power it. I purchased an Anker 30 watt power supply from Amazon, and everything works fine. Read more

Had this for about a week now and I’ve been impressed with this little hub. The finish looks good and matches the Mini M4 perfectly. The aluminum build makes it feel very sturdy. I’ve gotten great transfer speeds from the front USB ports and miniSD. Installed a 2TB Samsung Evo 990 and formatted to APFS. The drive boots up in sync with the Mac Mini and so far no speed issues. Another user claimed this dropped wireless speeds but I haven’t seen anything like that. Read more

This is indeed a perfect companion to a Mac mini M4. Got tired of adapters and other clutter and this fit the bill, looks great, and preforms well. Added a 2TB SSD to it and it's running great and all the extra storage is great! Read more

Useful hub for an M4 mac mini, particularly getting it up off the desk to allow access to the power button. Simple to employ. I would have liked a front facing thunderbolt port. Also, a slightly firmer fit of the Mac Mini on the hub would have been nice. Read more

I'll give this a 5star and here is why The first one I received had something wrong with it and wouldn't allow me to have faster than 40mb/s read/write speeds for the m.2 drive. The main reason I purchased this was for the storage aspect. I tried other usb-c cables unplugged everything leaving only monitor, power and usb-c to dock/stand and nothing. Would get 900mb/s read/write randomly then drop back down. Brand new WD_BLACK 2TB SN7100 I bought at the same time. I was able to get the 900mb/s every time when I had the drive in an external m.2 sabrent case So, I request it be swapped with a different one. That one arrive quickly and I tested it again with blackmagic. This time and all week randomly testing and everything is working great. Never had wifi issues like someone claimed so if that was an issue i haven't seen it with the 2x I had. Now, it's a great looking stand. Quilty and color match to the mac are perfect and it does add great functionality to the mac mini m4. The pictures for sure would justify them not taking this one back because of something not working, but figured I'd share on how sure I am it will be fine for a long time. As someone who's worked in a data center (the cloud for most, lol) mass production is amazing but their are issues randomly and that is defiantly the reason the first one I got didn't work right. If anyone cares, I named it Macimus Decimus Meridius M4 Read more

Worked well to add outlets and more storage to a Mac Mini M4. Easy to add Western Digital Black 4TB NVME M.2 drive and USB ports work well,l leaves a space below the Mini for air flow. Nice complementary look to the Mini M4. Not for older Minis like 2014, 2018, etc. just for newest Mac Mini M4. Great product. Read more

This hub works well for its intended purpose, but I discovered it causes significant WiFi interference when used with an M4 Mac Mini. My Mini would intermittently lose internet connectivity and had trouble with network discovery (couldn't resolve .local hostnames) when placed directly on this metal hub. Moving the Mac Mini just 3 inches away from the hub completely resolved all connectivity issues - even this small separation was enough to eliminate the RF interference from the metal construction affecting the M4's WiFi antenna. Would still recommend for most use cases, just be aware of this issue. Read more

Easy to set up and works great. Although I did need to get a longer USB-C power cable. The one supplied is pretty short and didn't reach my power strip on the floor. Nice addition to my 1TB Mac Mini. I added a 4TB SSD card and now have a total of 5GB of storage! I do a fair amount of video editing for work so I store any video related files on the 4TB drive. Read more
