Yes, I'm old school. I get up in the morning using an alarm clock, not my phone! My old alarm clock was starting to crap out, but to be fair, I've had that one for 17 years! This one is really nice. The front screen is huge and you can adjust the brightness very easily. The snooze button is HUGE! I love option for the soothing colored lights on the top. All of your controls are on the back, which for me will take some getting used to. I'm used to pushing a button on the top to turn on the alarm or set the time. It has 2 USB charging ports on the back. I'm not a huge fan of the alarm sound itself, but again, something I'll have to get used to. I do wish the alarm started soft and gradually got louder, but it's one level of sound. I do like this alarm clock, and I'm sure after some time has passed, I'll end up loving it! Read more
We have purchased several of these clocks over the years. Inexpensive, easy to see from across the room without glasses on, and our kids like that they can adjust the color of the nightlight . One of them did have one of the number segments stop lighting up after about 2 years. Keeps the time after a power failure due the the battery backup function so we appreciate that too. If you have a hard time hearing the alarm when you really, really need to wake up, this alarm clock is wonderful. The "Bed Shaker" doesn't actually shake the bed but it makes a strong vibration that is impossible to ignore. Especially if your pillow is right over it. The time and the alarm are easy to set. The night display is easy to read. I have two of them - one for home and one for travel. Read more
Had this clock for 4 months. After 4 months a strong scent of smoke started coming from the unit. My son thought there was a fire in the house. Found the source to the be clock. Plugged it into a different plug and smoke started coming from the unit itself. Unit does not show damage or problems from external. Was just used on a bedside table as an alarm clock only. Read more

This is a great clock, but it is not dimmable. This is the second one I have purchased. The first one is dimmable but that has now been replaced with a Daylight Savings Time adjustment. Much rather have the dimming capability because it is way too bright for a bedroom. Read more
