My one year olds favorite toy! She loves to be in the kitchen with me so I figured these would work great on the dishwasher! We have a smooth finish and they stick great. I am bummed as I have an older black fridge that is textured, they don’t suction onto that unfortunately. The suction is strong on the dishwasher and my daughter isn’t able to get them to fall off. The set comes with three adorable spinners (butterfly, ladybug, and bee). The colors are vibrant, and they easily catch her attention. She enjoys touching them and spinning them repeatedly. They are lightweight and easy for little hands to interact with. Like most babies this age, she also puts toys in her mouth. I feel comfortable letting her do so because I don’t see any small or loose parts that could pose a choking hazard. We attached the spinners to the playpen rails, and while they are fun and engaging, the suction isn’t very strong. To keep them securely in place, we ended up using a zip tie, which solved the issue but is worth noting. It sticks well with stainless steel but not on plastic. This kept my 11-month-old grandson busy for a long time. He loved smacking at them and spinning them. He wasn't the gentlest with them, yet they still stayed stuck to the refrigerator. As a family that frequently travels, finding new ways to entertain my 9 month old was becoming a task! I did some research and decided to purchase these toys to see if they would be able to keep her occupied while in flight for a little while. She absolutely loved, loved, loved! The bright colours were a hit! At first I tried to stick it on the t.v. console, then the tray table but the suction didn’t hold up too well. I then put it on the window, although I’ve read that slight attendants have frowned upon it to some parents! Ours did not! The quality was better than expected, my girl can be pretty rough, and I wasn’t sure his would make it past the first flight but it’s quite well made and sturdy. It can take a beating! As it relates to size, I found it to be small enough to just through in my purse and not have to worry about too much additional weight! Moms, I know, you know!
