The knife is a bit lute in the hand and the flash light and mag holer make it a bit u comfortable. But not too bad. The blade is razer sharp and cuts with minimal effort. 1 handed operation requires a flick of the wrist. A great knife at a great deal! Read more

Really nice knife with lots of good emergency gadgets. Really like the window breaking gadget and seat belt cutter. Very good emergency item to have in the car. Even has a fire starter. Got one for myself, my husband and my daughter, her husband and one for his dad. I think it’s a great gift that says I love you and want you to be safe. Only reason I knocked off a star is because my light didn’t work but my husbands did. The batteries are so tiny I don’t know if you can find them to buy to replace them. But everything else it comes with was great. Read more

A GREAT pocketknife...was delivered as advertised. Solid, well designed and good quality. As a Fire & Rescue volunteer, this knife is perfect with all its options and as a camper, it does it all. Would definitely buy again, and plan to, to give as a gift. A high quality great knife...cannot beat it for the price value...a great deal! Read more

I was impressed. It showed up and fresh out of the package it was quite sharp. I thought at the least I would have to sharpen it a bit to make it reliable useful. The flashlight is a joke, but I did not buy it for the flashlight. I hit the fire starter with some emery cloth to remove the protective coating, as I have had to do with all my fire sticks, and it works perfectly. I have fire sticks I paid way more for that throw similar sized sparks. That said, I am most impressed with the sharpness and apparent durability of the folding knife. As I said, i am planning on using it as a utility knife, not a survival knife so it should last for years. I did test the belt cutter, on some mule tape I had lying around and it cut it easily. I see no reason the window breaker should not work as it's size and shape appear right. Read more

Honestly I'd get it just for the knife. It's a good half serrated blade. There are a few drawbacks, and those are more to deal with the other parts: The flashlight: it's pretty dim, but for up close it's good. Don't expect this thing to shine more than 2 feet. The batteries are a pain, not sure where I'll get a replacement when it dies, and turning it on is... Interesting. You twist it to turn it on, but there's a sweet spot for "on". If you go past that, it's even dimmer. Not easily accessible to turn on while it's in the knife, but it's fairly easy to take out. It's tiny, so don't drop it! The firestarter - the ferrocerium rod is TINY. I mean sure, it's in a knife, but it seems like there's some more space in the knife that could have been utilized to insert a longer rod. Probably too short for starting a fire, but I'll have to give it a try. It does throw some decent sparks. The seatbelt/rope cutter is a nice convenience, as is the glass breaker point, though I think the glass breaker is just steel, not tungsten carbide, so it might take a bit more muscle to break glass with it. The action was a bit stiff at first, but I adjusted the pivot and now it opens very well. For the price, the blade and knife part are good - the other bits could use some work. Read more

I purchased this as a supliment to my emergency preparedness tool collection. For the money it is a great value! I own a benchmade triage 915 which is similar in intended function but costs 15x as much. Is this albatross as good? No. Obviously. But to have this in a car glove box, a hiking pack, truck center console, emergency medical/earthquake kit etc would be great. No big deal if it gets lost or stolen. I tested the belt cutter and it works. The blade comes fairly sharp. The flashlight is very bright for its size. The fire starter 100% works! Just scrape off the black coating first. Bottle opener is a nice touch for those pesky non-twist beers. Glass breaker seems a little more dull than others I have but should work jut fine. I have a few reservations... the case? Literally threw it out. Horrible thin material, worse than $1 store holster. ....the flashlight (while pleasantly bright!) turns on by twisting. To turn it off you have to “untwist” the head. Not a fan of that design as it can discharge or fall off during carry. Also it is overall heavy and doesn’t feel great in my hand. Its slippery too. No grip. I plan on using superglue and fine sand to add texture. It’s NOT a heavy duty knife. It’s a “oh nice! This will do this job I need it for right now” type of knife that you can forget about until you need it. That said I’ll prob be buying a few more to throw in emergency kits for my cars etc Read more
