I purchased the Aleon 21 inch Aluminum Carry-on hard side which appears to be very well built…..but on my first trip one of the locks malfunctioned so I was forced to use it during the trip with only one latch closed [the other would not close]. During that trip I contacted Jerry of their customer service department who was very helpful. He immediately fedexed a new latch to me and explained how to replace it. Thank you Jerry! Again, the carry-on itself appears to be of a much higher quality construction than the quality of the locks, which is why I only gave it 4 stars. But their customer service is 5 star! Read more

the thing started falling apart on the 3 trip (RDU-SEA-YVR). I'm a front of the aircraft traveler - this carry-on didn't leave my side. But i had to go back to the baggage carousel to look for the missing wheel! then i found that ALL THE WHEELS WERE COMING OFF! i tighten them all. AND THEY ALL CAME UNDONE! WTH! how much do i have to pay for something i thought should last - at least for a couple years. WTF! $300 more and I am thinking the wheels don't come off! THIS IS NOT NOT NOT "BUILT TO LAST"!
