First, unfortunate shipping costs. But, DO NOT let it deter you! Worth the minor amount I promise you! Second, I came into this purchase skeptical. Avatar Cologne for Men has long been discontinued unfortunately by Coty. So buying a remake can be a bit stressful. One note can be layered wrong, makes the whole thing smell off. But fear not scentbirds! Alexandria Fragrances absolutely nailed it here. Knocked it out of the park! Avatar is alive and well! There is a slight modernization of this scent, but it's so minor you won't notice it. When I initially smelled the sprayer I was like, oh goodness.. this is NOT it. Grabbed my scent card and spritz a few sprays to card. Telling myself not to smell. Waited a few seconds and stepped to fresh air. As soon as I "allowed" my olfactory to be open for business, it punched me right in the nose 😆. That nostalgia. That beautiful scent! Lastly at third, give Alexandria Fragrances a try! They just made a customer of me for future purchases! Their prices are fair for the amount of work put into matching Fragrances. Their bottle even comes in a nice string drawtite, velvet bag with their info printed on. It's a nice way to dress up the bottle with some packaging but yet keep the costs fair. This is an incredibly close match to the Coty Avatar scent. The base is a bit stronger than the original cologne but it is longer lasting as it is a perfume quality. The other closest match is to an Aspen also from Coty. Alexandria is one of the long-term go-to's that I will be using. If you're wondering if there's too far difference between both, I can clearly report if any. It's not noticeable. This is an incredibly close match and will be testing others that are reported to match closely to the original Avatar bottle. That said, I mean I'm ecstatic that this exists. Also, if you look at the photo you'll notice the sizing is pretty good for the price closely matching the Aspen size. Why am I comparing this to Aspen ? The answer is quality. Aspen has a certain quality that mimics Avatar but a fresher less invasive scent but it is not Avatar, but a similar quality. Read more

Bought this for my husband and he absolutely loved! His favorite scent was discontinued from the brand Coty called Avatar and this scent is almost exactly the same just a slight sweeter but he loves it and is on his second bottle . Read more
