These are screw-in felt pads about 1" in diameter. They are NOT the sticky kind.
We removed old carpet and found hardwood floors, so we decided to refinish them. Since we didn't want our furniture to scratch the newly refinished floors I went on the hunt for floor protectors. These screw-in type are perfect for the bottoms of our chairs and sofa feet to prevent scratching. I made sure to get the correct size that will cover the entire bottom of the furniture leg. Some of our furniture legs had hard plastic nailed in and we didn't even need to pre-drill those. However, we did pre-drill the ones that were bare to prevent the wood from splitting. The chairs glide across the floor easily and quietly. Even the couch moves easily for cleaning under it. These furniture felt pads are pretty thick and feel well made. Although this is a pretty big package of 24, I need more. Therefore, I plan on purchasing another package. Read more

Install is cake. I pre drilled a small hole so as to not split the wood chairs. I almost wish I had just a bit more length on the screw, but that is do to the design of the chairs not the product. At first install they slide effortlessly on our floors ( engineered hard wood). We had enough to do all our chairs twice, so that’s an added bonus. So far so good. I will update as time goes on. A must buy for anyone with hardwood floors. I tried for years to simply add the stickers on the legs of my funiture to keep from scarring and marring our hardwood floors.
