I was so happy to find this one rather than the middle one. This is plastic and it's very lightweight but it does the job. I feel like the middle one is way too heavy. I have had this one in the past and then I moved and I was unable to find it but I searched and searched and searched and the guy had one or two left so I bought them both. This is a really nice, heavy duty drying rod. Very good quality, seems strong like it could hold quite a bit of weight and it’s decently long so a lot will fit. My only concern was the mechanism to fold it down, you had to pull it to disengage then it would drop down. The place I will have it hung requires me to do that often and the amount you have to pull had me concerned that over time I would damage my wall. My husband liked it though and agreed with me so now he will instead use it in the shop where we don’t have drywall to worry about and I will order something that swings side to side instead. So if you can hang it in a spot where you don’t have to frequently drop it down or where you don’t have drywall, like in a garage, then you’d probably love this. Read more

Like this design. Ordered two of different sizes. One works well, the other may have been damaged through rough handling. The box was flimsy and very folded over upon arrival, although outer box was fine. The arm does not move freely, and is rubbing off the white coating every time you adjust the arm. Read more
