Cheap and works for my Talon AD7200 flashed with OpenWRT. Do not search for a power adapter for the router, they price will be doubled. Instead just look up the specs and buy that way! Read more

FINAL UPDATE: The power supply is currently connected to a 22TB hard drive in an external enclosure which serves as a backup and is off most of the time. On the occasions that I have used it -- sometimes for hours at a time to copy files -- there have been NO unexpected shutdowns. The power supply has worked reliably for the better part of the year. UPDATE: I checked the power supply and found that the 120V cord was not plugged all the way into the power supply. The loose connection may have tripped the power supply's built-in safety protection causing it to temporarily shut down. I plugged the cord back into the power supply, making sure it was firmly seated this time, and the power supply is now working again. I'll do some further testing with an external DVD/BD drive to make sure I've solved the problem. ALITOVE did reach out to address my problem, so I need to give them credit for that. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I connected the power supply to an external hard drive that was used periodically. The power supply itself was connected to a surge-protected switch and was off most of the time. One day I had the hard drive switched on, and while the hard drive was idling, the power supply suddenly gave out. I used a different power supply for the hard drive and it works fine, so the hard drive is not the source of the problem. Overall, the total usage time of the power supply was probably around 20 hours. Read more

I went to an well known official Meanwell vendor to purchase a legit replacement. The Meanwell was double the cost with current tariffs, but it will work safely for decades. Read more
