I've gone induction which does not work with my collection of aluminum N/S pots/pans. I decided to go the spendy route and buy all AC D5. I'm overly impressed with the quality of the D5 Line so it was a simple extension to get the N/S fry pans as well. I'm not sure about spending a ton of cash on any N/S as they are disposables. I have read mixed reviews about the AC N/S warranty so I'm overly protective of these pans. 1. NO PAN SPRAY! 2. To Clean, Soak, Hand Wash, NO abrasives, scrubbers or scrapers! 3. Never Heat Dry Pan, Always wet (use oil or water). 4. Never use Metal Utensils ( I use silicone ) 5. No Broiler. 6. Oven temp less than 400 degrees even though they say 500 degrees. 7. Don't let anyone else use them! Especially the kids! I want them to last a lifetime so these are the rules. Some also apply to the warranty. As for the Non-Stick properties... Excellent! A typical use for these pans is to make omelets. I preheat the pan over low heat (1 quarter power) with a pat of butter. Beat the eggs with chives and pepper, When the butter starts to sizzle and is completely melted, pour in the eggs and swirl with a silicone spatula. Grate a tablespoon of cheese over the eggs. When the bottom starts to firm up, lift an edge and tilt the pan to allow wet eggs to run down under the edge. Continue until the eggs are mostly done. Salt to taste. Fold and plate. I cook other food items in these pans but the main reason for getting them was for eggs and other foods that bond to S/S. I Love eggs so the pan was a must have. You will have to use a tiny bit of oil or water if you want perfect release properties. going dry especially with eggs, your mileage will vary. I haven't had these pans for very long but for the last month, I've had premium results. Read more

Very even heat distribution. I do not recommend washing this in the dishwasher despite it being dishwasher safe just to make sure the non-stick surface doesn't wear prematurely. If you are looking for the best of the best you have found it. All Clad makes a premium American made product that functions quite well. I would buy it again, I would buy it for a gift. Note: this is brushed stainless and not shiny like other All Clad products. Nonetheless - I am very happy with my purchase. Read more

I like how amazing it is. True non-stick. I've been cooking for 13 years and tried many "non-stick" labelled pan. Tefal, Turkish granite, German technology, all of them will start to stick after a month. This one is still amazing! Very heavy and it really feels a quality in the hand How to take care of it?? 1) High heat with this pan is a big no no 2) Wash gently with soft spongue, sometimes I only wipe it with tissues Dis: The 2 knobs that hold the handle is sticky to food. I am afraid to clean them well and scratch my non-stick layer. Will buy the bigger size from the same brand in the future Read more

Purchased a full set of this junk at a very high price. Non stick surface came off all 3 skillets within a year. I treated this cookware with kid gloves. Used silicone utensils, spout sponge to clean. No dishwasher. No phone number or email for All-Clad. Don’t expect any consideration from them or Amazon. Read more

I love cooking. And I love decent cookware. It took some research and some brick-and-mortar store visits to decide to lay down the money for this pan. I can't be happier with it. I have used some excellent Calphalon anodized pans before this, along with some T-Fal. All great pieces of cookware, but this pan blows them away. It's heavy, and due to that, it heats incredibly well, evenly, and retains heat. I'm happy with the entire D5 line, but if you want a nonstick pan, this is what you want. I've cooked eggs, cheese, meat, garlic, butter, oils, etc., and this pan looks immaculate after cooking and washing. Nothing sticks to it. Treat it well, and the investment is very much worth it. I have zero regrets purchasing this pan. Read more

I really love this little pan! I only use it or eggs and rarely anything else. But after three years daily use it has begun to stick when making an omelette. After a little research, which I should have done three years ago, I discovered that this is probably all my fault. It is VERY IMPORTANT to follow these recommendations which others here have listed: 1. Low or Medium/Low heat only!!! (I typically pre-heated on medium-high - a definite no-no). 2. No Pan Spray. 3. To Clean: soak, hand wash, no abrasives, scrubbers or scrapers. (I used a scrubber sponge). 4. Never Heat Dry Pan, Always wet (use oil or water). 5. Never use metal utensils (I DID use silicone, which is probably the only thing I got right). Follow these instructions to maximize the life of this pan...and realize that ALL non-stick pans will start sticking at some point. From what I read the life is 3-7 years, even when properly cared for. Read more

This is my go to large frying pan. It is simply amazing. Like all pans with excellent Heat conduction I use moderate heat and food cooks as quickly as needed. Nothing sticks, cleaning is a breeze. After washing I pour out the water and only a few drops remain on the Teflon. Like any quality large pan, it is heavy. But it has a good handle and handhold in front. I also cook at my father-in-laws house and I have one at that house as well. Read more
