This is the perfect slow cooker. You can sear meat in the metal insert, add ingredients, bring to a boil, and then set in the cooker base. I do not like to write reviews shortly after buying an item, but in this case I write because this is my second one; the first last 15 years before the heating element gave out. This is my 2nd unit. My first one quit displaying and thus became unusable. It was a good 7-10 years old, so I don't have too much to complain about. If it were not for the electronics, it would still be in use. I was always careful regarding the non-stick coating. It did get a couple of scratches somehow and was showing signs of age, but not enough to consider getting a new one until it just stopped working. Read more

I bought a slow cooker at the last moment before Christmas to be able to free up my oven while the turkey cooked in the slow cooker. I did my research and decided on the All-Clad. This is just a beautiful appliance. I particularly loved the fact that the inner cooking pan was not Teflon but a ceramic type construction that cleans up beautifully. Teflon just isn't healthy. I cooked a turkey breast in it, nothing stuck to the bottom and it was actually done faster then my recipe called for. I can't wait to try some other recipes. I'm 80 and this is actually my first slow cooker. I've used an Instant Pot for many years. These 2 will now be my 2 favorite appliances. Read more

I received my crockpot yesterday and told my husband that if he wanted me to make something with it, he needed to bring home a pork roast. He did and I put it in the pot with some corn, two small cans of salsa verde and kosher salt. Cooked on high for 6hrs. He said it was delicious on corn tortillas. But honestly, I’m more excited about how beautiful this pot is. It’s huge and really cleaned up well and is easy to use and I already love it. Read more

Be well aware that the non-stick coating of the Aluminum pot will eventually bubble up and seperate. The white coating under the non-stick is (ALUMINUM oxcide) EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TO INGEST‼️‼️ Read more
