I ordered these back in March 2014 and they are exactly as described, giant sized rubber bands. Eight 12" (red), eight 14" (green), eight 17" (blue) rubber bands for a total of 24. The only reason they do not get five stars is because the 12" red ones started breaking 2 months ago around the small trash cans I wrapped them around to keep the bags in place. The Sterilite 1022 trash cans I use are tiny, 2 gallon, with a 28.5" circumference around the top where the rubber bands are placed. The red ones only lasted 10 months but I didn't think they were too stretch around the trash cans as bag liners, since I wanted a tighter fit to ensure one of my cats did not claw off the bag. Now that I have used up all the reds, I am moving on to the 14" green bands around the same trash cans to see how long they last. These rubber bands are large, strong and durable. I use them to keep my towels in place on the pool chairs. I throw one end of a towel over the top of the chair, put a rubber band over that and we don't have to worry about the towels sliding down every time we get up to go for a swim. Read more
