So far, the water lock has been working great! It was quick and easy to install except for the kit missing 2 of the thermal pads for the VRAM to the backplate. I was able to use the ones off of the OEM cooler. Cooling wise, it works as expected. Cooling is going to not only depend on the block itself, but the rest of your cooling setup. The quality is great, but I’m not sure it’s worth almost $300, and they put the void sticker on the side where you can see it, instead of putting in on the PCIe side. The RGB LEDs work and look good and hook right up to my mobo for control. Though, the LEDs are along the PCIe side and fire out toward the water inlet/outlet, so you just see a reflection of the LEDs glaring at you. Great waterblock. For anyone else looking to buy something from a company not based in Slovenia, don't hesitate, Alphacool is filling the gap in the market. Good looks, great performance, straightforward instructions, easy assembly. Low temps on the core, vrm, and memory. Also the RGB is well diffused and very even.
