leather panels were fraying at the seams in the palm and armor was hideously gashed from "any" contact with an abrasive surface. Maybe I got a counterfeit pair? I expect better from Alpinestar and I'm surprised to find that their GP gear is just as frail (if not more so) than street/touring gear. Frankly, I feel like the price tag is obnoxious given that the only real benefit we're seeing here is a sturdy wrist guard. Read more
