I bought this because I have to park my car facing the sun in 100+° weather, and I was burning my hands. My steering wheel is old, was shedding rubber as well, felt gross, and was probably a breeding ground for bacteria. I've been using this for a couple of months now, and I absolutely love it! Not only did it completely solve my heat problem, it looks 100 times better than my gross steering wheel. It fit great the first time I put it on, and was really simple to install. It functions as intended, and doesn't slip at all, so I don't have to worry about it as I'm making sharp turns. Unfortunately, my son snagged it a little when he was moving large plants with my car, and I worried it would come unraveled, but the fabric held strong, and I was able to simply tuck the snag under without any unraveling.
