I had bought 2 different brands of the little 6 inch flashlights that have different features such as strobe. Both of them after a few years would just move to the different lights when I was walking and I would have to mess with them to get my main light back on. I bought this and it's great. Easy to charge, has 4 lights so you know when the battery is down. I use the lantern feature a lot when I am working on something and want to sit it down. It also has different light features but they don't automatically move to them, you have to push a button. I didn't think I'd ever use the strap, but I was carrying a chicken and I just put the light over my shoulder so my hands were free. The light is bright and I use it when I do chores. I used this yesterday while working on my dryer. I could set it down and work and change setting to look inside. The old one would roll on the floor. It has a red light setting that I can use to check on the dog and chickens without waking them up. It looks and feels well made like it will last for many years. Read more

I love the size & weight of this handy flashlight. I chose it because it is rechargeable and that makes more sense than batteries. I bought these for the myself and the family for backups when the power fails. When they came, they were so lightweight, I thought "Oh no. These are really cheap." No! Not at all! Everyone loves them! They are really bright. They have all the functions described and the buttons are easy for arthritic or kid fingers to press. The recharge function is really nice--but the fact that they will keep a cell phone going in a pinch is even better. I live in a wet area--water has not been a problem with this light. We have all been surprised how much we like them. I use mine more often than the more expensive ones I own and just charge it while I use my computer. It's great--As good as comparable flashlights at a cheaper price! EDIT: I bought a bunch of these 16 months ago and gave them to family members for household blackouts for Christmas. Blackouts are not unusual in our area. The ability to keep the cell phone going was a bonus, so I sent some to out of state, younger family members for the holiday, as well. As I wrote before, because they are light and plastic, everyone was lukewarm to them. We thought they would be kinda cheap and not last. It is now 16 months later--and we love them!! They are so easy to plug in and keep charged, super bright, and work for a variety of tasks. Ours are always getting moved from room to room and have to be hunted for after being used for some activity. We love this flash light more than any other one we’ve had! It is super easy to use and appears to be high quality so far. The light is very bright and it is great for our everyday household use.
