I originally bought this in white to protect my skin from getting sunburnt during a summer Disney trip; what it actually did was keep my from getting sunburnt and kept me cooled off all day! I had a lot pf people as me why I was wearing a jacket and looking at me like i was crazy but I told them as counterintuitive as it seems, it actually was keeping me way cooler than I would be without it! It's a light and breezy material, kind of like a wind breaker and it is loose on your body so air can still circulate all around. My skin wasn't absorbing the sun so I stayed much more comfortable throughout the day. I ended up purchasing this jacket in 2 additional colors and now we (me and my kiddos) wear them around regularly. They're especially cute with the little tennis dresses! I have washed and worn mine several times and it has held up perfectly! The zipper is quality and also has nice sized pockets (why do so many womens pieces not have pockets????) which was an added convenience! Wait, did I mention this also has a hood???!! Love this jacket! Will definitely be buying in more colors. I do feel that it is a little over priced so I will be on the lookout for sales. If this was something I could get in store I would not spend more than $20. It is very lightweight which I was what I wanted, I plan to use it while golfing. It is cropped, I was looking for one that wasn't super cropped and it looked just right in the other reviews but I think due to my larger chest it makes the jacket shorter on me so that is something to keep in mind for bigger chested girlies. There is lots of space in the arms and shoulder so you can get plenty of movement! I think it looks really cute on and super flattering on just about every body!! I actually bought this because I got a new tattoo towards the end of summer, and needed a way to safely be outside without exposing it to the sun or having to put sunscreen on it while it was healing. I’m usually a size 6 or S/M in tops depending on the brand and went with an M here which is true to size and fits like the photos, hitting just about at my hips (I’m 5’3”) for a cropped look that’s not *too* cropped. It has some stretch to it and feels kind of like swimsuit material but a little more “dry.” When held up to the light, it definitely filters some but not all; I don’t know how accurate the UFP 50 claims are but it definitely helps block the sun’s effects. I got it in white so I don’t feel too hot while wearing it in the sun, and the material is breezy - I like the full-zip so I can leave the front open for more airflow. Only con is that it doesn’t look very flattering when zipped because the bottom sort of bulges out and makes it look like I have a big stomach - folding the hem under helps with this, but it still looks best unzipped. Overall it’s nice to have something light but protective for walking, kayaking, and sitting in the sun when I can’t use sunscreen or don’t want to reapply. Read more

Love the light blue color! Works well as a light layer when you're out in the sun. The bottom bulges a bit with the structure of the zipper and elastic band. The hood is a bit small, but nothing that makes this unwearable. Read more

This light weight cover up is cropped right to the hip, it's high quality material, has an easy high qualiry zipper, lays flat across the belly, and is very flattering from both the front and the sides. I love the color and will definitely buy more in the future. Read more

I bought this to protect me from the sun while hiking the Grand Canyon. I was hesitant to wear a sun shirt because it was 97 degrees down in the canyon and I didn’t like the idea of an extra layer. But this not only protected me from sunburn, it kept me nice and cool! The material feels divine, it’s very cooling and doesn’t stick to you, and keeps the heat and harmful uv rays off your skin. It fits true to size. I’m 5’4” and 135lb. If I were wearing it to look “cute” I would have gone with a small. I wanted it a bit baggy for the airy feel and it was perfect for that. Read more
