I fell in love with the neck fan, the moment I turned it on for the first time. What a genius idea! I use it when I’m doing the dishes or cooking, and tend to get warm. My workplace does not have AC, so this will come in very handy on hot days. It would also be great for an outdoor event on a warm day. Noise level is not excessive for the speed it’s on. The top speed is obviously going to be louder. It could be difficult to hear certain sounds over the higher speed settings, but that’s easy enough to adjust. If you’re working, or need to focus, the white noise the fan provides is actually perfect for blocking out background noise. Doesn’t feel heavy on your neck at all. Not uncomfortable. Bends and twists every which way, so you can position it perfectly for what you want. It has many levels of speed. I also love that it has a rechargeable battery. I’d much rather worry about charging it, than buying pack after pack of batteries and changing them all the time. Lasts for a few hours per charge. Potable fan fits around neck comfortably n flexes a bit for adjusting it to fit comfortable enough on shoulder neck area, it was a gift for fiance for the photo days on golf course. Comes with cord to recharge it. Holds charge well. Its Light weight n barely feel it on, its comfortable to wear. Its good quality. Fan works really nice n is not really noisy at all but ( the fan blowers r right near the ears so u will get some noise, but this is one of the better ones, much more quieter.) The button that turns the fan on off, up or down is even with the side of band that wraps around your neck. It is so smooth n even with the band that i do have to fiddle with finding it, n sometimes have to take it off my neck to find it. Im going to put something on it so i can find it with easier, maybe a dot of rubber glue will help. that's my only issue ( if it even is one). Put anyways very pleased with product n purchase. it helps when you are feeling hot, its lightweight, my long hair doesn't get in the way wearing the neck fan. I like the sleek design and its slimmer around the back neck area. Its quiet using on setting 1 but if you go higher it does get a little bit nosier. It is a neck FAN so its not like an AC so its not really that cold of air. Why did you pick this product vs others?: Honestly, I chose three different fans for my family, and this was the best of them all. It has long battery life, great air flow, and is comfortable. In hot and humid areas, it's a life saver. I wish it had a digital battery meter, but that's just icing...the cake is great. Don't get white. I LOVE these!!! I have, to date, ordered 4 of them. 2 for work & 2 for home/going out. I am a nurse in geriatrics at a nursing home & the residents tend to like their rooms warm & I run warm to begin with. That being said, if I don’t have a flow of air on my face while I’m moving around & then stand still to talk with the residents, I begin to facially perspire to the point where it’s mentioned to me, “Wow! Look at you sweating already! Are you hot or something?!” Yes. Yes, I am. Andddd at home, I’ll get out of either a warm shower OR cold shower, & as I’m beginning to move around getting ready, yet again, (because no flow of air on my face) I’ll begin facially perspiring AGAIN. It’s such a pain! I had previously come to terms with this form of hyperhidrosis. With these neck-fans, I’ve been CURED! The battery life is great! I only need to put it to the second setting which is the lowest-continuous flow of air. The first setting is low & intermittent flow of air. Obviously if you get warmer, you can dial it up. The battery life is great! It lasts a good 6-7 hrs on that second setting I previously mentioned. It’s also really light weight! I thought in the beginning, wearing this light weight fan for 8-16 hrs would begin to make me sore after so long but no! It never has bothered me! when wearing one, I have the other charging. Purchased two items - one works well, the other was defective out of the box (one of the fans didn't work, the other fan died also after 30 sec of use). Otherwise, if the product works, it is well designed and comfortable to wear. The noise level is low (especially on low speed), and the cooling is very pleasant. Read more
