The media could not be loaded. The Amazon Basics LR44 alkaline batteries were a phenomenal value compared to the crazy prices at my local stores. I installed them in three of my Frabill tip-up lights that I use for ice fishing and they lasted the entire season. The batteries appeared to be of high quality and fit inside the light perfectly. They were very easy to install and have not shown any signs of leakage, but I will probably remove when I put in storage until next winter. Pros: Great price for 12 batteries over the name brand. Cons: Package is adult-proof. I spent more time opening the darn package than I did fixing my calculator. I don't have any kiddos, but I do understand the need for tough packaging so babies and toddlers can't easily get to them, but this seamed a bit overboard. Pretty good deal for LR44 batteries I need every blue moon. Found my old calculator that's dual power (battery & solar). Only solar would work. Opened it up and old battery was stuck and a little corroded where it makes contact. Cleaned it up with 91% IPA. Tried two batteries and nothing. Thought they were dead. Nope, just needed to clean it a little more. The third one worked. I guess changing batteries helped clean the contract point more. Figured while I had it opened I'll try all 12 batteries. All 12 work. I'll make a note for today's date when I charged the battery and see if the battery life is long or short lived. If long lived, I'll buy again when needed. I forgot when I bought these. Looked in my order history and it was almost 1.5yrs ago and with all 12 working, so far so good. Read more
