I chose this luggage specifically for its size. It's somewhat larger than a carry-on luggage but smaller than a typical medium-size check-in luggage, which suits my needs perfectly. I took it on a 30-day international trip. There's enough room for all my clothes and toiletries, plus extra space for several souvenirs I picked up along the way. The luggage went through 7 flights all together as well as being dragged in and out of over a dozen hotels. I wasn't always gentle with the luggage, and it survived everything just fine. I just bought another one for my wife. Read more

There’s a reason this bag has such a high rating. It performs just as well as suitcases that cost two to three times as much. I took it on a trip to Chicago, and it worked perfectly. The softside design is flexible, the 8 spinner wheels make it easy to maneuver, and the TSA lock adds peace of mind. Overall, a reliable, affordable carry on that I’d use again in a heartbeat. I tried this out as a replacement for my trusty 14" suitcase that I've had for over a decade. It's small but mighty, in fact it fits under many airplane seats and can sometimes fly as a personal item, yet I've been able to make it work even for the occaisonal 2-week trip. For an upcoming trip to Europe though, I was looking to get more of a "true" carry-on sized suitcase that would still abide by stricter int'l size requirements. I was impressed by the overall quality of this suitcase. It has a sleek and thoughtful design that feels more expensive than it is. The inner compartments and built-in laundry bag were a plus. Smooth wheel movement, and a pretty sturdy build overall, especially given the price point. Unfortunately though, because the spinner wheels are so tall, the extra few inches of height didn't actually gain me any additional packing space compared to my 14" case, which has more space-efficient in-line wheels. It was basically the same size as my old one, just with extra air between the bottom of the case and the floor. Given this, I decided to return it and stick with with my old standby for now. But if you are looking for a solid small suitcase, I do recommend it! Read more

I bought this set for a trip from MN to Japan this spring. I don't travel often and didn't feel like dropping a huge amount of money, but I also have unrealistic expectations of everything going wrong (cue images of zippers ripping apart, bags flying open, handles and wheels cracking off, etc etc). With these semi-opposing thoughts in mind, I did a lot of research on various options until I had it narrowed down. This set was the winner for me based on size and weight, and ended up being perfect! Some highlights: - Sturdy but lightweight. There were no issues with any part of the luggage traveling internationally, and it's lightweight enough that I wasn't concerned with my bags going over the weight limit for checked luggage. - Spinner wheels have held up great so far and are SO CONVENIENT. If you haven't had luggage with spinner wheels, please try them. It was so ridiculously easy to glide through the busy airport and train stations. - All the pieces fit together nicely. They arrived nestled together like a trio of boring, useful Russian dolls. On my way to Japan, I fit everything I needed for 13 days into the medium bag (25") and put the medium bag in the large bag (29"). When I got to my destination I only had one large piece of luggage to worry about, and I got to go home with an entire suitcase full of goodies. Other notes: - My cat decided these are really cool and fun to scratch, and after about 5 days of daily claw use there wasn't any major damage. - The handle doesn't feel like the sturdiest thing in the world. I'm pretty short, so to drag the 29" bag around I didn't need to extend the handle at all. The others I have been careful with, but I haven't really encountered any extendable handles that have felt extremely durable, so who knows. - I do wish there were more pockets, either on the front or back or inside, but I really enjoy pockets and compartments and having my things organized, so that's just a personal preference and didn't ruin my life. Overall, these are great pieces of luggage and I'm looking forward to using them more. They may not be a lifelong investment, but they do seem like they'll hold up for at least a dozen more long trips. Read more

Not quite the quality I would have liked but works for the small amount of travel I do. Nice and lightweight so I can lift it to carry on storage. Read more
