I am very pleased I chose to purchase these Amazon Basics ear buds. I opened the package before work a few mornings ago so I could charge them and use them the next day. However, to my surprise, the buds were already charged! So I was able to use them that very same morning which was awesome because I really wanted to try them out. Within seconds of putting the buds in my ear, they paired to my phone. It literally took less than 15 seconds. They showed up as Amazon Basics TWS Earbuds on my Bluetooth device list, which I appreciated, because a lot of times the devices will show up with cryptic abbreviations and are hard to find. After they paired, I connected to one of my music playlists to get a feel for how the buds were going to sound. I am not exaggerating when I say that these are the clearest sounding buds that I have. I have been using two other pairs the past five years, and I always thought those were crisp sounding. These Amazon Basics are better. I was also very pleased with how comfortable they fit in my ear. They felt safely lodged in place, with no risk of falling out even when I cough or sneeze. Upon using these through the day, I detected no static whatsoever. Another great feature of these is that the magnetic case keeps the earbuds from inadvertently falling out of the case. The only thing missing from these buds and case is the percentage of charge that is still available in the case. My other two pairs consistently last for about five hours before I get the audio ‘low battery’ warning. These Amazons lasted over six hours the other day, and I am not sure exactly how full of a charge there was, so that was a nice surprise. I initially bought this Bluetooth ear buds for my husband who is annoyed at needing to recharge his $80+ namebrand Bluetooth ear buds every 1-2 hours. These were going to be his backup. Well, now I’m using them and I really like them compared to my own Bluetooth earbuds. They feel lighter and more comfortable. I just used these for a few hours out of the box and the battery life is still going. I can leave my phone in the kitchen while wearing these downstairs to the basement without losing connection. The touch functions work fine on the side of the buds, with a learning curve and some memorization. The sound quality itself is clear and good for budget earbuds. I have done various chores of different intensities without issues of the earbuds coming loose. The case itself closes and opens with ease while securing the earbuds well. Compared to my other earbuds, the build quality of this feels cheaper but the price difference reflects that trade off. The size of this case is smaller, not significant but enough of a difference if I’m trying to pack in a tighter space for space efficiency. Overall, there’s earbuds are very good quality with high reliability for such a budget price. I recommend them if you don’t want to shell a lot of money for Bluetooth ear buds. Read more
