I use this menthol rub on my nose in winter when it is sore from rubbing with tissues, also to keep it moist when out in the cold elements. This topical helps sooth my skin and helps open my nasal passages to breath easier when congested. We also use this under our nose when we do farm chores in the barn :) It helps hide bad smells. Whenever I have a tough cold or sore throat this helps immensely. I rub some on my chest, throat and on the tip of my nose and then I go to bed. The day after using this, I always feel less congested and I can breathe through my nose again. It does have a minty smell that goes away after a few minutes.
