This soap used to work wonders for me when I started purchasing 3 years ago; since then, it seems as though the formula has changed, and the bottle too. It is hard to get product out when it is almost finished and it is smaller than the original bottles. The soap does not lather as much as it used to. I would wash my hand with warm water, wet my face, add a raspberry-sized amount of product on my hand, and lather, and it would result in full-on bubbles like dish soap, but it is quick to settle and does not properly get the job done. The original formula had my pores CLEAR even better than the CeraVe SA cleanser. My skin would be so soft following a wash. It was also very helpful with BO. I used it under my armpit and let it sit for a minute before rinsing it off, and it would be good for the day using deodorant at night. The current formula kind of does the same, but not as effectively as the OG. It smells clean; be wary, this can be very stripping, so it should be paired with a moisturizer. The lotion from the same brand of Vaseline works. It is sad because despite this being a body wash, I would use this as my skincare, and it would save me a BUNCH. Now it might be worth it to buy the brand-name items. But don't shoot the messenger; I would still recommend people try it out themselves. Maybe my skin just got used to it. Read more
