NOT A PAID REVIEW.... WOW—FOR REAL! This has been an incredible time and money saver for me! It's paid for itself in the first couple of items shipped. The value in this is genuine in every detail. It takes A LOT to become an Amazon Basics product, especially in accuracy of quality and last(durability-Low Returns). This Scale and it's features are no-brain power simple and dumbly intuitive to use. After looking at a what seemed like the same or close to this, I went with Amazon Basics, and also due to the sheer amount of weight that this can handle. Then there's the QUALITY of it that not only looks nice, but you can actually feel it. Metal plate - It's sturdy, firm in fitment to the base and clearly well made in inspection and feel. I like the packaging so much that I kept it and store it in the original packaging that functions as a case for safe containment and protective storage. You know when you're looking at something online and it's hard to discern if it's going to meet the description and claims, but you also wonder whether YOU are also going to feel that way. I'm not skeptical as a rule, however, I don't appreciate people hyping things up when they're not worthy. Time suck - This is my first scale that I have ever purchased for doing shipping items and it's exactly what it looks like in the pictures, it's the exact size that it is listed in the description, and again the ability to just plug it in and not need to read a book to learn the functions is such a relief! I sincerely RECOMMEND this scale. The Tilt Stand works nicely and cables are long for each so that if I need to ship something VERY large, that I will have no problem getting it set on the scale and being able to clearly and easily see the large numerical LED Screen from a distance. I did mention that it's It's durable, and stupid simple to use and does what I need it to do over and over again - give me correct weights accurately no matter how I change the orientation of the packages that I have placed on it. Believe me, I really wanted to know so I can get the best rates possible on shipping without having to "round-up," to the next pound, when I can now round-up to the next percentage of an ounce. I recently replaced a digital postal scale I'd owned for many years. This unit was reasonably priced and has been working well. It's very light and I wonder if it would stand up to very heavy use (I don't think I'd put a 65 lb package on it), but the display is easy to read and the features I need are all there. I especially like that it came with a power cord so I don't need batteries. If your mailing needs are basic, this scale is a good choice. Read more
The media could not be loaded. This Scale is just what we needed for our Small Business! Battery Life: Great and long lasting! Great scale! It's not designed for a bathroom scale but that's (mostly) how we use it. So far, it's quite accurate. Solid design, easy-to-use controls. That said, the controls are external - in a nice box attached to an umbilical. This works out well for us, but this does dictate the best paces to use it. Read more
