I ordered this to hold my cats' water fountain and toy box, and to give them a place to look out the window, so I didn't intend it for a dining table. But it would be fine for a small dining table. It's very sturdy with no wobble at all, which is important to me, with 16 pound cats jumping on it. I think it looks great in my space It was also very easy to put together. The holes lined up perfectly, so I could mostly hand-tighten the bolts before having to use the Allen wrench. And the bolts were also sturdy, not flimsy at all. I am a senior citizen, but was able to assemble this table and set it upright by myself. The instructions were straight forward, all parts fit together precisely, with no missing hardware. It looks very nice, and seems sturdy. The wood is attractive and warm. I've gotten compliments on the set. This table fits in a small space snuggly with four dining chairs on all four sides, and it is very light, sturdy and simple design to use for dining table or game night occasions. The natural rubber wood seems solid on the surface, yet it's quite nice to put my hands on it when writing or doing homework. My kids use mine sometimes for playing board games during holidays and assembling Lego projects. Great buy for low budget, its chic and modern style is very easy to blend in with any surroundings. Easy assembly was a big plus and not too much fuss finding the right parts when assembling.
