I have been a big fan of Amazon’s brand when it comes to their smaller sized hardcover journals. Let’s talk about the phenomenal packaging! These two hardcover notebooks come in sturdy and protective packaging. Excellent and well thought-out. Protected from bending and moisture. This journal surprised me a bit. Pages are thin/feel cheap compared to their smaller hardcover journals (much thicker paper, but priced the same as these). Not a deal breaker. If you’re archiving stuff, maybe use a nicer thickness paper journal. But… it is nice these use acid free paper. And when I use my Pilot G-2 gel pens and Uniball Signo 207 pens there is no bleed thru. That’s what matters to me. Nice that the pages are perforated. If you make a mistake can cleanly tear it out without messing up the spine. At $10-11, these are a great value. If they went up to $16 there are better contenders out there to consider. My suggestion: if you like these, order in bulk to avoid price swings. I manually counted the sheets in my notebook (as of Nov-2025): 168 lined sheets (336 pages to write on). 1 blank sheet at beginning. 1 blank sheet at end. Read more
